Our Founding Fathers

Computer Link was founded in 1991 by partners Ashley Watson and Wanda Prewett.  Each partner brought a unique aspect to the business.  Ashley had specialized in hardware and Novell networks since 1979, while Wanda had specialized in software and Unix networks since 1982.  

The staff includes sales personnel, trainers, software support personnel, hardware technicians, electronic claims specialists and networking experts.  Together, they offer a complete solution to business computer needs.  Our customers include medical offices, accountants, auto repair centers, insurance agencies, hospitals, point-of-sale businesses and government agencies.    Back to top of page

History of our Medical Specialization

Computer Link began specializing in medical office solutions in 1988 by selling and supporting The Medical Manager product.  Recognizing the need to provide up-to-date software for its clients, Computer Link switched to selling and supporting the Henry Schein MicroMD product line in 2003.  With the switch to the Henry Schein product line, Computer Link can now offer a complete line of clinic software - billing, paperless office, prescriptions writer, electronic medical records, lab interfaces, monitoring devices and leading edge clearinghouse services.    Back to top of page
